We are a group of individuals who want to give back to our local community.
We are dedicating our efforts this month for "Dominic's Friends", to benefit the family of Dominic Loperena, the 6-year-old hit by a car July 29 as he was riding his bicycle, without a helmet, on Santa Teresa Boulevard. Dominic received severe brain trauma as a result of the accident. Dominc's family has been very involved with our community and all of us want to show our support. We are proud to be a part of this month's event.
With some fabulous contributions from the local community, we are holding a raffle and oyster sale to raise awareness for wearing a helmet while bicycling. Our raffle tickets are available on Monday the 8th and the main event is at the Taste of Morgan Hill on September 27 and 28th.
If you would like to see what we are about, please email us or join us at our monthy meeting at Poppy's Fish and Poultry in Morgan Hill, CA on 3rd Street. We hold the meeting at 7 pm on the third Wednesday.
